Solid State Survivor is the second studio album by Japanese electronic band Yellow Magic Orchestra, released September 25, 1979 on Alfa Records (cat. ALR-6022). It was YMO's most commercially successful album in Japan and topped the 1980 Oricon yearly LP chart. The original first pressing was issued on translucent yellow vinyl with red labels and an obi strip, and includes the hit tracks "Rydeen," "Technopolis," and "Behind the Mask" (later covered by Michael Jackson and Eric Clapton).
