Godspeed You! Black Emperor's third studio album, recorded by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio in Chicago and released November 2002 on Montreal label Constellation. Stripped of the field-recording samples of earlier work, it is a raw, dissonant, instrumental post-rock double LP. Pressed on 180g vinyl in a printed gatefold jacket with insert. The band entered a multi-year hiatus following this release.
