Reissue of Antonio Carlos Jobim's 1970 album Stone Flower, originally released on CTI Records (CTI 6002). Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder Studios (New Jersey), produced by Creed Taylor, with arrangements/conducting by Eumir Deodato. Features Ron Carter (bass), Airto Moreira (percussion), Joe Farrell (soprano sax), Hubert Laws (flute) and Urbie Green (trombone). The album marks Jobim's move toward electric piano and the early-1970s fusion/crossover sound. This 2023 EU pressing comes in gatefold packaging.
